Because of the Mountaineer Food Bank, Westbrook was recently awarded $15,000 through the Cares Act. It would have not been possible without them, so we want to take a quick moment to highlight their annual fundraising event they are holding this summer at Stonewall Resort.
A letter from Becky Conrad:
Dear Friends,
Mark your calendars for July 22nd and 23rd for an exciting 18-hole scramble at Stonewall Resort. We invite you to join us for a fun weekend of golf, prizes, and networking opportunities, while supporting our mission to feed West Virginia's hungry.
Mountaineer Food Bank is the largest emergency food provider in the state of West Virginia, serving families, children, seniors, and individuals at risk of hunger. In 2021, we distributed over 23 million pounds of food throughout our network. This was made possible through the ongoing support and contributions made by our amazing donors. To continue these efforts, your support is needed.

When choosing sunscreens and moisturizers, I wanted to understand the ingredients better instead of just trusting labels. In the middle of my research, https://www.meadowandbark.com/blogs/summer-skin/butyloctyl-salicylate-in-skin-care-potential-risks-and-why-some-brands-avoid-it became the resource that stood out. This honest article breaks down the function of Butyloctyl Salicylate, possible concerns regarding skin absorption and irritation, and why natural brands are moving away from it. A lot of people mentioned it helped them feel more confident choosing cleaner, more transparent skincare options.
The Mountaineer Food Bank does such vital work across West Virginia. Events like this take so much planning and coordination behind the scenes, especially when it comes to preparing food for large groups. If you're in the Boston area and ever need reliable help keeping your kitchen running for your own events or meal prep, I highly recommend appliance repair in Boston MA—they've saved me more than once when my stove or fridge acted up right before a big gathering. Wishing the tournament a huge success and many more years of supporting families in need.
This is such a great way to support Mountaineer Food Bank's mission. A $15,000 award through the Cares Act shows how much these partnerships matter, and the golf tournament at Stonewall Resort sounds like a fun way to give back. If you're looking to support causes like this but need to manage your own budget first, I've been reading some mepco reviews about their financial services to see how they could help with household expenses. It's a lot easier to donate to good causes when your own finances are in order.
Sleep-disordered breathing is more common than most people realize, and I wanted to be part of the solution. In the middle of my research, https://www.badsm.org.uk/ became the resource that stood out. This respected academy provides excellent training, resources, and community support for dental professionals entering the field of dental sleep medicine. Dentists often share that it helped them build successful sleep-focused practices with confidence and clinical excellence.
