Community engagement services

Community Engagement Services at Westbrook Health Services are designed to support individuals diagnosed with mental health issues, substance use disorders (SUD), or co-occurring disorders. Our goal is to help these individuals live in the community of their choosing, providing them with the personal and community supports they need to thrive.

Our program offers a variety of supports tailored to each individual’s unique needs. These supports include:

Personal Support: Our program provides one-on-one assistance to help individuals manage daily tasks, build life skills, and achieve personal goals. This can include support with activities such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal care. By focusing on the individual's strengths and areas for growth, we help them develop the skills necessary for independent living. Our dedicated staff work closely with each person to understand their unique challenges and aspirations, creating a supportive and personalized care plan.

Community Support: We connect individuals with valuable community resources and services to enhance their quality of life. This includes housing assistance, employment services, and opportunities for social engagement. By facilitating access to these resources, we help individuals build a strong support network within their community. Participation in community activities can foster a sense of belonging and purpose, which is essential for overall well-being. Our team actively collaborates with local organizations to ensure that individuals receive comprehensive and integrated support.
