OutpatienT Therapy
Westbrook Health Services provides comprehensive outpatient therapy for mental health and substance use treatment. Our outpatient therapy services cater to a wide age range, from children as young as 3 years old to adults, ensuring comprehensive care across the lifespan. This program collaborates with the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, care coordination, and psychiatric medication providers within our agency and the broader community. Referrals for outpatient therapy can be made both internally and externally to the therapy program director and clinical office manager by calling our office at 304-485-1721 ext 859.
Therapy sessions are scheduled on an outpatient basis, allowing clients to attend regular sessions without the need for hospitalization or residential treatment. Treatment is delivered by licensed and provisionally licensed therapists or psychologists within our community behavioral health center. To enhance accessibility, our services can also be provided via telehealth using Microsoft Teams, ensuring that individuals can receive support from the comfort of their own homes. Outpatient therapy may include individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy. Additionally, we offer an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) specifically for substance use disorder, using evidence-based curriculum. This program provides structured group therapy sessions designed to support individuals in their recovery journey while allowing them to maintain their daily responsibilities and community connections.
Our Therapeutic Modalities Encompass a Wide Range of Approaches, Including:
