LEAD

What is LEAD?
LEAD is substance use diversion service that provides a way for public safety officials to work with behavioral health providers. They work together by diverting low-level drug offenders to treatment and support services, rather than jail and prosecution. Instead of arrest and prosecution, LEAD participants are linked to trauma informed intensive case management and therapeutic services.  Lead coordinators work with the participants to connect them to intensive interventions, such as detox, assertive community treatment, residential treatment, comprehensive case management medication assisted treatment (MAT), transportation and other support services.

Who does LEAD help?
LEAD's target population are adult men and women (ages 18+) with a history of low-level criminal behavior related to drug abuse. This includes individuals arrested for low level drug offenses and those arrested for sex selling to support their drug use.
PER GRANT REQUIREMENTS WE CANNOT ACCEPT FELONIES OR DUI’S!!
